A Gamer Before It Was a Job
Ahman grew up with a controller in his hands. His dad worked in IT and either played with him or watched him play: Tecmo Bowl, Oregon Trail, Carmen Sandiego. That childhood turned into a lifelong passion, and after twelve NFL seasons it turned into a second career at the front edge of esports.
Coaching & Teaching
In 2020 Green became head esports coach at Lakeland University in Wisconsin, one of the first NFL veterans to lead a collegiate program, and built it from scratch. Since 2023 he has taught and coached esports at the University of Nebraska, leading courses that prepare students for careers across the gaming industry.
Beyond the college level, Ahman designs and runs youth esports camps for schools, Boys & Girls Clubs, and community organizations across the country. Campers learn the fundamentals of titles like Madden, Fortnite, Rocket League, Marvel Rivals, and Mario Kart, along with the things that matter more: sportsmanship, healthy screen-time habits, content creation, teamwork, and how gaming can lead to real careers in technology.

Fantasy Football
Yes, the Packers’ all-time leading rusher plays fantasy football, and takes it seriously. Ahman has played for years across multiple leagues, including a league he commissions through his own Discord community, where the season champion takes home a signed helmet or jersey.
Ahman Green, an avid fantasy football player, has worked with FantasyBoss to raise money for his foundation, and also plays his leagues on there.
